I’m so excited to invite you to join me at Accelerate Action: PTFW’s 2^nd International Women’s Day (IWD) Conference!  It’s only our second conference but IWD has been around for a long time…first celebrated in 1911!  Since then, March 8 has become a day of global celebration, a time to recognize both the struggles and achievements of all women and, more importantly, a time to accelerate the potential and opportunities that await future generations of women.

Our exciting all-day conference will feature experts from a variety of fields including finance, law, technology, business, nonprofits and the arts. Together they will issue a call to collectively address the barriers and biases women face with a greater sense of urgency and momentum. With opportunities to network, learn, engage in meaningful discussion and strategize, attendees will leave feeling inspired and empowered to take action. Together, we will become stronger, healthier and happier!

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Denise Pyles, our Keynote Speaker, who will share practices that can help us remain calm amidst the chaos of life.  Based on her book, Burn Without Burning Out: 7 Micro-Mindfulness Habits for Clear Thinking, Decisive Action, and Recovery from Burnout, Denise will share effective strategies designed to help us thrive, not just survive.

Numerous other speakers including Gwenn Leatherman, DNP, and Maggie Gise, DPT, will speak to the physical health and emotional wellbeing of women. Gwenn’s presentation will highlight hormonal health and the importance of women understanding their own bodies and advocating for their needs.  And Maggie, a Doctor of Physical Therapy will explain the limiting impact of poor pelvic health and share effective pelvic exercises that can help women live life to the fullest!  Visit our website to see the complete list of amazing presenters who will share their knowledge, experience and expertise with us!
