On August 26, nine members of the Prime Time for Women (PTFW) golf league had the opportunity to participate in a special 1950s-themed, 9-hole Guest Invitational hosted by Fountainhead Country Club.

The fun-filled day began with a light breakfast before the golfers took to the course for a Scramble, a relaxed team format that encourages camaraderie and makes the game enjoyable for golfers of all experience levels.

The day was filled with great golf, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition. PTFW members made an impressive showing, with several players earning top finishes—including first-place honors on both the front and back nine!

Following the round, everyone gathered for lunch and an awards ceremony, providing the perfect opportunity to celebrate the day’s accomplishments and connect with fellow golfers.

More than just a day on the course, the Invitational reflected what Prime Time for Women is all about: building friendships, creating connections, welcoming women into the game of golf, and enjoying the experience together. Events like this provide an opportunity to meet other local golfers, strengthen community relationships, and share the PTFW mission of “Connection over Competition.”

Those attending were; Mary Ann Harne (1st place back), Julie Martin and, Molly Heraty (3rd on front 9), Jane LaFleur (3rd on back 9), Barbara Neiman, Kathy Curtin, Ana Powell (1st on front), Janese Wills and Donna Pendleton.

It was a wonderful day of golf, friendship, and community—and a great representation of the spirit of Prime Time for Women!  We had a blast!!
