Sixteen members of the Prime Time for Women Book Club gathered at my home on…
Thankful to the PTFW Community and Our Supporters!
It’s November, the month we celebrate Thanksgiving! I wonder, what are you thankful for this year?
As the Founder and CEO of Prime Time for Women, I am thankful for the Washington County Health Department. Without their support Prime Time for Women would not have been able to publish the Healthy Community Cookbook, a collection of delicious and nutritious recipes.
I am grateful to all the Prime Time for Women volunteers who worked diligently to create the Healthy Community Cookbook. This year-long project required commitment and dedication from the members of the Cookbook Committee. They generously gave of their time, participating in bi-weekly meetings, researching the nutritional content of numerous recipes, photographing dishes and proofreading multiple versions of the cookbook.
Last but certainly not least, I’d like to thank the members of our Walking to Wellness program who graciously shared their favorite recipes. What makes this cookbook special, in addition to the yummy recipes, are the bios and headshots of all those who submitted recipes. As an organization that understands the physical and mental health benefits of being seen, heard and valued, PTFW is honored to recognize them. After all, we always say, “You deserve to be seen and heard…and when you are, you inspire others!”
During this holiday season, in appreciation for their generous support, PTFW will give each donor and new member a copy of the cookbook, as long as supplies last. Happy Thanksgiving!
