Prime Time for Women brings you Lorraine Seiler Young and Melissa Noel
Lorraine Seiler Young lost her younger sister, Donna Seiler, to domestic violence just two months after her marriage. Last November, Lorraine and Donna’s daughter, organized a walk to call attention to domestic violence, which sadly, can happen to anyone – women, men, children, between spouses and even friends.
Melissa Noel is co-owner, along with her husband Brian, of the Yarn Shop, a local store, located at 98 W. Washington Street. She joins us today to share her story of learning to knit as a way of dealing with stress. In her own words, “I simply needed to refocus my mind and, on a whim, decided knitting would be the way to do it.”
