Accelerate Action: PTFW’s 2^nd Annual International Women’s Day Conference took place on March 7-8 at Hagerstown Community College! This incredible two-day event was filled with interesting and engaging workshops, amazing Prime Insight Presentations, inspirational stories, and lots of opportunities to connect and reflect. Conference attendees joined in spirit with women around the world for a day of global celebration that highlighted the power of women working together to change the world for the better.

The conference presenters, engaging, knowledgeable experts, spoke on a variety of topics that encouraged, empowered and challenged those in attendance to pursue their personal dreams and to build a more inclusive, equitable and accessible world.  Accelerate Action was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors, our powerful speakers, the dedicated staff at Hagerstown Community College, our volunteers and vendors, and, of course, all who attended.  To see the list of speakers and sponsors, click here. World-renowned comedian, actress, and fierce advocate for women, Amy Poehler once said, “…I love bossy women.  I could be around them all day.  To me, bossy is not a pejorative term at all.  It means somebody’s passionate and engaged and ambitious and doesn’t mind leading.” I could not have said it better myself! In fact, PTFW’s conference was all about empowering women to lead, and to do it passionately!  Whether you were at the conference or not, “Let’s get BOSSY, together!”
