Jeanne Singer

Jeanne focuses on tax and estate planning for individuals and business entities.  Jeanne creates estate plans for clients that include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and life insurance trusts.  She has worked with numerous clients to achieve their charitable goals through the use of lifetime and testamentary charitable vehicles.  She has extensive experience with tax compliance and business succession issues.  Jeanne is a licensed CPA.

Jeanne is licensed in both Maryland and Pennsylvania.  She received her BS from Boston University and her JD from Georgetown University Law Center and continues her education through courses relating to tax and estate planning.  Jeanne is a member of the American, Maryland, Frederick County, and Washington County Bar Associations.

Jeanne has served on the Boards of OnTrack Washington County and Meritus.  She is a past Chair of Leadership Maryland and the Greater Hagerstown Committee and a past President of the Mason-Dixon Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Heartly House, Inc, Sunrise Rotary-Hagerstown, and Safe Place, Washington County’s Child Advocacy Center.   She is co-founder of the Women’s Giving Circle of Washington County, Maryland, served as a Trustee for the Community Foundation of Washington County, Maryland and on the Investment Committee of the Frederick County Community Foundation.  Jeanne has served on the Board of the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Washington County, Hagerstown.  Jeanne is a graduate of Leadership Maryland, Leadership Washington County, and Leadership Frederick.  She is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek.

Jeanne has been recognized as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women three times; Business Volunteer of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of Washington County, Hagerstown; Rotary Club Outstanding Service Award; and was a finalist for the Businessperson of the Year twice.
