Some people like to talk about the importance of democracy…Genie Massey lives it.  She passionately studies democracy and the role women have played in it throughout history, and with great enthusiasm shares her knowledge with others.  Genie has a Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins in the Art of Teaching Secondary Social Studies and currently works for the Maryland Civic Education Coalition while she finishes her Doctorate in Education, Adult & Professional Learning.
