Fanny Crawford is a professional storyteller who has been perfecting her skill from an early age. She spent her childhood absorbing family stories and cross-cultural perspectives from an extended circle of loquacious urban, rural and multi-lingual relatives and friends. After a 45-year career focused on children, health and education, Fanny parleyed her passion for storytelling into a repertoire of historical narratives, world folk tales, original stories and tall tales. She enjoys sharing her stories at historical association meetings, story festivals, house concerts, libraries, day care centers, and summer camps. Fanny breakout session, “Recognizing and Naming Your Gift” will reveal her belief in the transformative power of stories.
